We thought the first Covid 19 wave was over. We thought we might be lucky in South Africa, that if anything was to threaten our lives or our economy it might only come with winter in the middle of 2021.
We were wrong. It has come again with a new strain, ironically during the season of renewal, specially for us here, on the southern tip of Africa.
Before we knew that my wife and I broke out in late August, 2020, travelling to 13 locations in 8 weeks, the longest a 3-week journey to Cape Town to celebrate our granddaughter’s 4th birthday.
