This is a rhetorical question for me because I’m not sure. The cover for my first book Run, Run was designed by my son Andrew from a picture I took in Namibia. For interest I include below the reverse picture of the Namibian 4×4.
For Khami I sent four pictures to Boutique Books who do my layout and design. I would have chosen the two stark images because of the storyline; these are the image of the dead tree in Sossusvlei and the Swakop River taken just inland of the town of that name. She chose instead an image taken near Aus, close to the lookout point where one can view the wild horses.
The success of her design shows you that I do not know much about book covers!
